    The Davis Egg Heads are scattered about campus. They are excellent excuses to take photos and selfies, but they are also quirky reminders of our purpose here; to stress and strain and bury our heads in knowledge until we become the human version of egg heads, leaders in our fields.

  • Summer Research

    The first summer of my PhD has been my first opportunity to do some original ethnographic research. The brief was to ‘find my project’, to seek it out and be open to new paths opening up. I began with the rather broad scope of looking at different people’s attitudes towards air.

  • The Importance of Storytelling

    I think I’ve always just wanted to tell stories. I began by singing songs, then I fell in love with film, and now I tell true stories, discovered through research with real people.
